Kathryn Osenlund, CurtainUp’s Philadelphia writer since 2000, is a professor emeritus of communications and theater, an NEA /USC Fellow in Theater and Musical Theater, a Eugene O’Neill National Critics Institute Fellow, and a member of the American Theater Critics Assn (ATCA). Kathryn enjoys covering theater in a town that boasts a number of world-class theater companies and is home to a slew of popular regional theaters and an incubator for promising start-ups. Kathryn makes it her goal to try and see the best on offer and to experience new works. In the summers she steps out of bounds to help cover the New York International Fringe Festival.
